The deep well pump is submersible, and is single phase with 0.5 horsepower. The water pump is constructed out of corrosion-resistant materials.

The open well submersible pump is placed inside a well casing. The pump uses a centrifugal pump and impellers to pull water into the intake, pushing it through pipes to a desired location.

what is the GPM at 140Ft.
Hello Gary, thank you for your question. At 140 feet, our D1156310 deep well pump will pump at about 20 GPM. We have quite a few models of deep well pumps that will pump at different GPM at that depth. Will this product fit in a 4 inch well casing?
Hello Wayne, thank you for your question. This D1156310 deep well pump is 4 inches in diameter, so it will not fit in a 4 inch well. The well would need to be a minimum of 5 inches in diameter. We do not have any deep well pumps that will fit a 4 inch diameter well, but we can manufacture a custom size if you give us a call.

Does this D1156347 pump and motor come with a control box? If not do you sell the control box for the 5.5 hp model?

Hello Roy, thank you for your question. That is correct, or deep well pumps only come with a lead cable and the rest of the wiring must be provided by the end user or the installer of the pump.

The D1156367 deep well submersible pump cannot be inserted to 2.5-inch casing. It is designed for 4 inch casing. Unfortunately, we do not supply pumps that could fit a 2.5 inch casing, but we do manufacturer custom products all the time. Please call us at 1-888-785-2677.
Does this pump handle 240 volts and can it manage dirty water?
Hello Jim, thank you for your question. This D1156312 pump cannot handle 240V as it is 110V. We do offer 240V deep well pumps, but they are not recommended for dirty water.
We are looking for a deep well submersible pump to keep our ponds aerated and cool during the summer. This would be used in a remote area without hydro so would need to run off a generator. It is a drilled well approx. 200 feet deep, our current pump is approx. 30 feet deep and is solar but isn't doing the job. We are thinking the D1156344 pump would work and we would place it at about 50 feet. How many gpm would we be getting and will this pump work off a generator and how many watt generator would it need to run?
D1156344 can get approximately 60-65gpm at 50 feet deep. With refererce to 21A/110v, it needs 2300w or above to run.

Thinking of using your Deep Well Pump - 238 M - Single Phase - 3 HP for watering a plot 100m x 100m, all on level ground. 32mm pipe around the outside and 25mm in 18 rows. 16 sprinklers per row. He he, do you think it will do the job. I suspect it won't and will have to devide the plot into smaller sections. Will this product be able to supply water to a 2700 sg ft home, 2 1/2 bath and some irrigation at a depth of 400' ?
This deep well pump might be able to supply your home, but we would need to know more information. What is the per capita water usage? What are your flow irrigation needs? What is the distance from the water to the top of the building?
