General Description
Non-sparking Pipe Wrench – Aluminium-Bronze – 30mm x 250mm
This non-sparking pipe wrench is made of high-quality aluminium-bronze. It has a max opening of 30mm and a length of 250mm. The tool is beryllium free and Factory Mutual (FM) certified.
Function
The non-sparking pipe wrench is designed to turn threaded pipe and pipe fittings for assembly or disassembly. It can both tighten and loosen these pipes. The corrosion resistant, non-sparking alloy ensures the pipe wrench will not spark when it comes in contact with flammables or explosives.
Applications
The non sparking non magnetic wrench is ideal for any situation in which threaded pipes and pipe fittings need to be fitted, especially in potentially explosive environments such as oil, chemical or manufacturing plants that need appropriate safety tools. It can also be used in general plumbing and other pipe settings both residentially and commercially.

Are these tools beryllium free?
These non-sparking tools are beryllium free. With beryllium tools, there is a risk of chronic beryllium disease, which primarily affects the lungs and can be transferred to other parts of the body through the bloodstream, leading to slow deterioration. However, there are benefits to beryllium tools, as they provide protection against fires and explosions in hazardous environments, and have a strength and hardness not found in aluminum, brass and bronze tools. They work well for many specialized applications in precision devices and instruments. It is important to take care whether tools with or without beryllium will be best for your situation.
